What I Do

As a travel writer I like to explore the food and drink of a community, discovering the people whose creativity and passion help define the character and culture of a place.

As a wine writer I bring the world of wine to life for a diverse audience, whether that’s exploring Oregon’s many talented winemakers pushing the boundaries of their craft, discovering oddball varietals or sizing up the fuss over natural wine.

My writing also extends beyond these specialisms to more general and varied topics, ranging from business and finance to design and popular culture.

I also take pictures of the food and wine, people and places that I come across. See some examples here >
